Beijing-based Seesaw Productions was founded by Jane Zheng in 2012 to create, develop and produce character-driven, socially-conscious films for a global audience.

At Seesaw, we seek out stories that go beyond borders. Our films have won critical acclaim and commercial success across the globe. They have played in competition at film festivals such as Sundance, Tribeca, and Busan. Our recently released film, The Farewell, was nominated for 'Best Motion Picture - Foreign Language' at the 2020 Golden Globes, and won Best Actress for Awkwafina.

Seesaw Productions has pioneered a cross-cultural, creative production hub of filmmakers for the global indie film market. Through collaboration with innovative and dynamic talents, we have a team of creatives and crew who follow the production process from concept through production to final cut.
